Disadvantages of Rooting Android Phone and Tablet PC

We just now wrote an article on what is rooting and benefits of rooting and now we are back with another article on drawbacks of rooting your Android phones and tablet PC. In this article we have kept short points as I love rooting my devices and as of now I have rooted my phone and tablet PC and keep loving all my Android devices to get the super user access. As we have already talked about rooting and benefits hence we will directly talk about drawbacks of rooting your Android device.

You can find a tutorial on rooting your Android device in my friend's blog.

Drawbacks of Rooting

Bricked phone

There are chances that rooting may brick your phone and your phone will just become paper weight and nothing else but do not worry there are few ways to unbrick your phone too. You may always take back up your phone and follow the rooting process and just in case if you have bricked your device then let us know and my team will help you on that.

Void Warranty

It is clearly written in the article that once you root your phone then your phone or tablet’s warranty will be void and if something happens to your phone the company will not be responsible for it and they might not provide you the free or paid services as well. So do it at your own risk.

Security of your phone

Rooting lets many apps and codes intrude in to your phone and tablet so it is quiet possible that you are being monitored by some one who has made the app or firmware. In this case we will advice you to use antivirus apps for Android and you will be safe from any potential threat on your phone or tablet PC.

Updates on Air

It is quiet possible that updates on air or OTA updates may not work on your rooted phone but we have seen people getting OTA updates so it is applicable only for one in a thousands phone or tablet PC.
Do let us know what do you feel about this article and do share your love with us.
