As you all know Nook Tablet is an amazing tablet to use and it comes with amazing features like 7” vivid view IPS LCD screen, 1024*600 pixels, Nook tablet has TI OMAP 4430 chipset, 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processo, 1 GB RAM, hard disk of 16 GB and it can be expandable to 32 GB which is pretty good. Apart from this it has Android 2.3 OS, wi-fi, Bluetooth, inbuilt microphone and many other options. Barnes and Noble claims to have 11 hours of battery life in Nook tablet however we have got few queries from our viewers that there Nook Tablet is not giving good battery performance. Increase Battery Life in Nook tablet

To increase battery life in Nook tablet all you need to do is follow few steps and you will get amazing battery life in your Nook tablet. We have already talked a lot about Nook Tablet hence lets head over directly to steps to increase battery life in Nook tablet.

Always keep the display and brightness at the lowest level in your as Android OS like 2.3 consumes a lot of battery.


Update the latest firmware


You also need to make sure that you update the latest firmware on your Nook Tablet, however as of now we have not witnessed any custom firmware for Nook Tablet but rumors have already started that very soon Android 4.0.1 will come to Nook tablet PC.


DO NOT use live background


Live backgrounds look really good and people love to have it in their Android phone but remember this can consume a lot of battery so always use static background.


Close background and Inactive apps


In order to save battery of your phone you also need to close apps which are running in background and apps which are not being used as they use RAM and at the same time a huge chunk of battery from your Nook Tablet.

Always make sure that you should not drain battery of your Nook tablet, always make sure that battery of your Nook tablet is at least 20-30% level and then you may put it for charging.
Always take off battery of your phone when needed and make sure it is turned off and then take off the battery of your Nook tablet.
Never put anything under or above your battery, lets take an example we tend to keep paper to fix loose cover or put sim card as it presses the battery and result in spoiling your battery big time
You may also take out the battery of your phone after switching it off and clean the two golden tip with a soft cloth and this will ensure better flow of current in to your Android OS.
You also need to turn off sync, notofication, GPS, push mai, wi-fi, Bluetooth, unwanted tone, vibration when not needed as they consume a lot of battery of yoru Nook tablet.
Always keep apps update of your Nook tablet and it will give you nice battery performance.
  • Turn off Bluetooth: It is advisable to turn off the Bluetooth as as long as Bluetooth is on it keeps on searching for Bluetooth signals and that consumes lot of battery.
  • Turn off push notification and push e-mail : It is important to turn off push mails and notification on your Android phone if you are using it as it takes lot of battery.
  • Turn off Apps which are running in background: If there are any apps which are running in background then go ahead and turn it off as these apps consumes lot of battery.
  • Reduce the auto lock time: Always have lower auto lock time as it helps your Android phone to turn off the display in minimum time lock your iDevice.
  • Charge it full every time: This is very very important for you to charge your Android phone to charge to the fullest as every battery has certain number of charging hits and every time you connect your device to charge, you take out 1 hit from it.
